UGA gets their second defensive lineman commit for the 2024 cycle, and it's a big one in 2024 4-star Jordan Thomas.  Jordan is a 6'-6" 296-pound DL that plays for Don Bosco Prep in Ramsey, New Jersey. He's the 106th overall rated recruit in the 2024 class, the #14 rated defensive lineman, and the #1 player in New Jersey. COMMIT: 2024 4-Star RB Chauncey Bowens Flips to UGA from Florida

RBU gets their second commitment of the cycle, and this time it's 4-star running back Chauncey Bowens flipping from the Gators to the Dawgs.  Bowens is a 5'11" and 219-pound back that plays at The Benjamin School in North Palm Beach, Florida. UGA Softball Advances to Super Regional After Sweeping Regional

UGA Softball entered the first weekend of the NCAA Tournament coming off a disappointing performance in the SEC Tournament, but they made a statement. Georgia hosted a regional in Athens as the #14 ranked seed in the tournament and went through Virginia Tech, Boston University, and North Carolina Central to advance.  The first game for Georgia was against North Carolina Central, and the Eagles didn't stand a chance after the Bulldogs put up 12 runs in the home half of the first inning. COMMIT: 4-Star TE Jaden Reddell Commits to UGA

Todd Hartley gets his annual blue-chip tight end commit, and it's 4-star Jaden Reddell this time.  Jaden Reddell is 6'-4", weighs 233 pounds, and plays for Raymore-Peculiar High School in Missouri. Reddell is the #3 tight end in the country and the #55th overall prospect in the country. He primarily lines up out wide for his high school but can be a hands-down tight end and also be split out wide in college. In his junior season, he had 49 receptions for 1,002 yards and 12 touchdowns.

A Recap of UGA Baseball and Softball From This Weekend

Tony Baldwin and his UGA Softball team entered a three-game series with #15 LSU in Baton Rouge on a six-game winning streak but unfortunately couldn't keep it alive.  The Dawgs dropped two games out of three during the weekend. Three Bulldogs Selected in First Round of NFL Draft

Three former Bulldogs had their names called during the first round of the NFL Draft in Kansas City tonight. Jalen Carter was first to be called as the Philadelphia Eagles selected him after they traded up to the 9th pick to get him. Jalen came to UGA in the 2020 class as the 18th overall-rated prospect and lived up to the hype. #17 UGA Softball Sweeps #21 Aggies in College Station

This past weekend, Tony Baldwin and his team swept a three-game series against #21 Texas A&M in College Station.  Madison Kerpics got the nod on the mound for the Dawgs in game one on Friday. Kirby Smart's Press Conference Notes Following A Close Win Against South Carolina

4-Star Chrisitan Garrett Talks His Recruitment and Visits to UGA and Alabama

I went out to check on Prince Avenue's UGA target, Christian Garrett, in a game against Athens Academy two weeks ago. Garrett is a 6'5" and 275-pound defensive lineman rated as the 198th overall player in the country in the 2025 recruiting cycle. Kirby Smart Press Conference Notes Following a 48-7 Win

Kirby Smart met with the media following UGA's seasoning opening 48-7 win over UT Martin.  He opened his remarks by saying the UGA fans, "were elite tonight." Smart then goes on to say, "I'll be honest with you I was concerned about complacency among our team, but I was also concerned about complacency among our crowd."
