Georgia hit the floor this afternoon to play their second game in three days as they took on NC Central.

The Bulldogs didn't look like the same Georgia team that played this past Friday against Wake Forest. At the break, UGA only led 27-23. The Dawgs shot 36.4% (8/22) from the floor and was only 16.7% (1/6) from three. They let the first-half turnover bug from the season opener creep back in as they had 7 turnovers. Georgia was exceptional at the charity stripe, as they went 91% from the line, making 10 of 11. NC Central only shot 30% (9/30) from the field but made 4 three-pointers. Another key for the Eagles was that they were able to get 7 offensive rebounds against the Dawgs.

Mike White's squad showed their force in the second half as at one point, they were on an 11-0 run and grew their lead to double digits. The Eagles put up a fight late in the second half, but the Dawgs were able to withstand as they won 64-54. Georgia didn't shoot the ball well in this game. They finished the night with a field goal percentage of 35.8% (19/53)  and a three-point percentage of 24% (6/25). The biggest improvement in this game for UGA was their free throw shooting. The Dawgs shot 80% (20/25) from the line, with Jabri Abdur-Rahim accounting for 10 of those makes. The Bulldogs still need to clean up their turnovers, as they had 6 more in the second half for a game total of 13. Georgia still has some improving to do, but Mike White has this team headed in the right direction.

New transfer Jalen DeLoach had his best game as a Bulldog so far in this one. He went 4/4 from the floor for 8 points and added 4 rebounds and 3 assists. Silas Demary Jr. and Jabri Abdur-Rahim were the two Bulldogs who scored in double figures. Freshman Silas Demary Jr. continues to show why he was a great addition to this Bulldogs team. He had 10 points but also created a lot of havoc on defense. Demary Jr. also finished the game with 4 steals and 4 rebounds. Abdur-Rahim had 13 points, but all but three came from the free-throw line. He went 10 of 11 from the charity stripe, and his other 3 points came from a triple.

Georgia's record improves to 2-1 following the win tonight. Their next game will be on Saturday against #13 Miami in the Bahamas Championship. Tip-off is set for 3:30 PM EST on CBS Sports Network.
