UGA gets their second defensive lineman commit for the 2024 cycle, and it's a big one in 2024 4-star Jordan Thomas.

Jordan is a 6'-6" 296-pound DL that plays for Don Bosco Prep in Ramsey, New Jersey. He's the 106th overall rated recruit in the 2024 class, the #14 rated defensive lineman, and the #1 player in New Jersey. For his high school, he lines up all across the front and proves why he is one of the top defensive linemen in the country.

Thomas chose the Bulldogs over South Carolina and Rutgers. Tray Scott and Fran Brown were the prominent people involved in his recruitment process. He joins 4-star Justin Greene as the second of a few defensive lineman prospects to commit to UGA. Other potential DL targets include 5-star Williams Nwaneri, 5-star Justin Scott, and 4-star Joseph Jonah-Ajonye.

With the commitment of Thomas, the Dawgs continue to grow their lead of the #1 class over the rest of college football. Georgia now has 19 prospects committed in the 2024 class, with 11 on offense, 7 on defense, and 1 special teamer. Kirby and his staff continue to show dominance on the recruiting trail and show no signs of slowing down anytime soon.

Stay tuned to DawgsCentral for all things UGA sports.
