UGA DL Tyrion Ingram-Dawkins Sidelined After Foot Surgery

DawgsCentral has learned that Georgia defensive lineman Tyrion Ingram-Dawkins underwent foot surgery this week. The redshirt sophomore from Gaffney, SC was limited throughout fall camp due to a foot injury. It was decided that Ingram-Dawkins would have surgery on his foot this week after playing 10 snaps in UGA’s opener against UT-Martin. UGA RB Daijun Edwards Dealing With MCL Sprain

DawgsCentral has learned that UGA RB Daijun Edwards suffered an MCL sprain to his knee in a recent practice. Sources are hopeful that Edwards can be ready for UGA’s opening game against UT-Martin on September 2nd, but the senior from Norman Park has not been participating in drills so far this week. UGA TE Lawson Luckie expected to be out 2-4 weeks following ankle surgery

UGA freshman TE Lawson Luckie suffered a high ankle injury last Saturday during UGA’s first scrimmage of fall camp. Now the timeline for his return is becoming clearer.  Sources told DawgsCentral earlier in the week that Luckie was in a protective boot and not practicing due to the injury. SOURCES: RB Kenny McIntosh Unlikely to Play in Georgia’s Game at Missouri

Sources tell Dawgs Central that running back Kenny McIntosh is likely to miss UGA’s upcoming game against Missouri. At this time it is believed McIntosh will only miss one game. UGA WR AD Mitchell Expected to Miss South Carolina Game

Sources have told Dawgs Central that  UGA receiver AD Mitchell is expected to miss the South Carolina game after suffering a high ankle sprain in the first quarter of UGA’s 33-0 win over Samford in Sanford Stadium on Saturday. Mitchell had 29 catches for 426 yards and 4 TD’s in 2021, including the go-ahead touchdown in Georgia’s win over Alabama in the CFP National Championship.  A timetable for Mitchell’s return is not yet known.
