There isn't much to say.  Georgia wasn't able to compete on Saturday.  The Crimson Tide came out on fire hitting on 5 of their first 6 3 pointers and the only miss was a foul on Brandon Miler which he hit all three free throws.  Georgia had absolutely nothing working on defense or offense.  Alabama not only beat them by 49 points, but out rebounded them 49-26.  Brandon Miller had 21 points early and played sparingly after Alabama built the lead.  Led by Miller, Alabama had 5 players in double figures including Nick Pringle who had 19 points and 12 rebounds.

Georgia played hard, but so did Alabama and that led to timid shots by the Bulldogs all game long.  Georgia got 40 minutes of one of the best teams in basketball and no late game lull to sneak in any garbage time points.  Alabama wasn't going to allow Georgia any moral victories on Saturday.

Georgia came into the New Year with a 10-3 record and early win over a ranked Auburn team giving hope that maybe a magical SEC run could make the undermanned team alive for post season considerations.  Well, Georgia and the fanbase got to see what tournament teams look like.  In four games since the Auburn upset, Georgia has lost to the top 4 teams in league by 122 points. Mike White's squad doesn't get a break with a trip back out west to Arkansas who actually shoots the ball better than Alabama.
