Georgia travels to Tuscaloosa to face #1 Alabama.  The Tide will likely fall from that ranking ater they lost to Tennessee on Tuesday, their first SEC loss of the season.  Alabama is led by true freshman Brandon Miller (18.7 Pts, 8.2 Reb, 2.0 Ast) who is expected to be an NBA Lottery pick this summer.

Alabama leads the SEC in field goal shooting percentage at 46% and Miller leads the team hitting 62%.  Along with Miller, Alabama has 3 starters shooting more than 50% from the field. Mark Sears (13.5 Pts, 3.7 Reb, 2.8 Ast) and Noah Clowney (8.2 Pts, 2.8 Reb, 3.4 Ast) make a three headed monster that challenge the Georgia defense which has held the last two opponents to under 40% shooting.

Braelen Bridges (8.2 Pts, 4.4 Reb, 0.8 Ast) has put up back to back quality games as has Kario Oquendo (12.7 Pts, 3.0 Reb, 0.7 Ast.)  Georgia will need those two and Terry Roberts (14.3 Pts, 3.9 Reb, 4.1 Ast) to return to form to try and keep pace with Alabama to have a chance for the upset.  Georgia’s lone SEC win last season was a win over the Tide.  Revenge could be a factor as is the fact that Alabama is making a case for a #1 seed.
