Kirby Smart's Press Conference Notes Following A Close Win Against South Carolina

Kirby started his press conference by saying what a tremendous job Shane Beamer and his team did coming into a hostile environment and playing the way they did. Smart stated, "They out-executed us for sure there in the first half." He then thanked the fans for the help with the momentum in the second half. Kirby Smart Talks Javon Bullard's Injury in Post Game Press Conference

Georgia moves to 2-0 on the year as the Bulldogs take down Ball State 42-3. Kirby Smart met with the media following the win to discuss the game and injury updates.  Kirby opened the session, stating how this week of practice was one of the best in the 7-8 years he's been at Georgia. Kirby Smart's Tuesday Press Conference Notes Ahead of Upcoming Ball State Game

Kirby Smart met with the media today to preview the Ball State game this upcoming weekend and talk more on the UT Martin game.  Kirby starts off the press conference by saying that practice has been great on Monday and Tuesday. The weather in Athens wasn't as hot as expected, so the team had a full outdoor practice today. He states that the coaches challenged the team to have a better week of practice and "So far we've done that, but we've only done 2 of the 4."  UT Martin got the ball

Kirby Smart Press Conference Notes Following a 48-7 Win

Kirby Smart met with the media following UGA's seasoning opening 48-7 win over UT Martin.  He opened his remarks by saying the UGA fans, "were elite tonight." Smart then goes on to say, "I'll be honest with you I was concerned about complacency among our team, but I was also concerned about complacency among our crowd." With this being the first night game in a long time in Sanford Stadium, Smart says the atmosphere was really good for the players but says they didn't respond to it early.
