Dawgs Central Prediction - Georgia Will Complete the Flip

To say that The University of Georgia has some positive momentum on the recruiting trail would be a severe understatement. The Dawgs are absolutely smoking. This is due in large part to a large portion of top targets taking their official visits in June. Many of these guys will make their decisions in July, so they can concentrate on their senior seasons.

Of course UGA didn't have to wait until July, as 3* offensive lineman Joshua Miller got the party started by decommitting from from Penn State and completing the flip to UGA on June 13th. The positive momentum continued when the Dawgs received their highest ranked commitment so far in 5* cornerback AJ Harris. Top kicking prospect Peyton Woodring decided to choose Georgia over Alabama on June 18th. Two days later, 4* CJ Allen jumped on board to claim his linebacker spot on the commit list.

Don't expect things to slow down anytime soon and we promise to have all of it covered here at Dawgs Central. Saying that, we're ready to bring you six predictions in six days.

Let's start with the easiest one to make right now, which is Raylen Wilson. The #5 ranked linebacker in the nation committed to Michigan on December 8, 2021, but that didn't stop Glenn Schumann from recruiting the four star prospect. The Georgia coach kept his foot on the gas, resulting in Wilson decommitting from the Wolverines yesterday. Things had been headed in that direction for a while, but especially after Wilson taking his official visit to Athens during the June 3rd weekend. He also took official visits to Michigan and Florida.

We're predicting Raylen Wilson to UGA with a confidence level of 9/10. I'd do 10/10 if we did that, but nothing is ever a lock in recruiting. This one looks to be not a matter of if, but when.
