Georgia has been after 2023 4* CB Chris Peal for the majority of this year, offering the 6'0 175 pounder in March. This is actually a decent bit after his other top schools, with Michigan, UNC, and NC State all offering in 2021.

This immediately peaked the interest in the Noath Carolina native and he took his official visit to Athens the first weekend in June. Pretty much since that time UGA has looked like the team to beat. Peal took other official visits to NC State, Michigan, and South Carolina in September. The Gamecocks are on the outside looking in.

While you always want to keep an eye on the in-state schools, Michigan has always seemed to be the biggest competition for the Dawgs here. How strong the competiton is may be the question. We've had our eyes on this recruiment since July as one that could end at any time and now that it is ending, I feel stronger in predicting him to Georgia than I ever have. Of course we have seen that anything can happen in recruiting and sometimes at the last second, but it'd be a big surprise if he doesn't choose the Dawgs Sunday.

Peal is ranked as the #177 overall prospect in the nation and the #21 overall cornerback. I expect that ranking to go up, as he's been dominant on offense and defense this season at Providence Day School in Charlotte, North Carolina. You can check out his junior season highlights HERE. If Georgia is able to secure his commitment, he would finish off what many would consider the best DB class in the nation. I think that will happen and ready to put in my 'Official Dawgs Central Prediction"!
