COMMIT: 2025 4-Star Jacob Wilkins Commits to UGA
Jacob Wilkins follows in the footsteps of his father, UGA great Dominique Wilkins, and commits to the Dawgs.
The 6'8" and 170-pound small forward committed to Mike White and the Georgia Bulldogs over Virginia. He's rated as the 3rd player in Georgia and the 16th nationally ranked player for 2025. Wilkins plays for Grayson High School in Lilburn, Georgia.
He's a junior, so he still has some filling in to, but the athletic upside for Wilkins is off the charts. This might be a surprise to some people, but the son of The Human Highlight Reel can throw it down. Jacob also has a good jump shot as well. Teams will have to respect him behind the arc while also knowing he can drive and dunk on them as well.
Jacob is the first commitment in Georgia's 2025 recruiting class. Mike White has established some major recruiting momentum for the Bulldogs over the past few weeks. After gaining the commitments of 5-star Asa Newell and now Jacob Wilkins, a lot of the focus will now be turned to 4-star Khani Rooths and 5-star Derrion Reid.
