Glenn Schumann adds another blue-chip prospect to the UGA LB room with the addition of 4-star Chris Cole.

Chris Cole is a 6'3" and 210-pound linebacker for Salem High School in Salem, Virginia. He's rated as the 6th linebacker and the 56th overall player in the 2024 class. Until his junior year, Cole played defensive back until transitioning to linebacker. Last season, he had 76 total tackles and 11 tackles for loss. He has times of 4.6 seconds in the 40-yard dash. Cole also finished 4th in the 60-meter hurdles and 6th in the 55-meter hurdles at the Nike Indoor Nationals.

He chose Georgia over Tennesee, USC, Virginia Tech, Penn State, and Miami. The Bulldogs have continued to recruit the linebacker position better than anyone else in the country. Cole is the third linebacker to commit to Georgia in the 2024 class, joining 5-star Justin Williams and 4-star Kristopher Jones.

Georgia continues to add to their #1 ranked 2024 recruiting class, with Cole being the 27th commitment in the class. UGA has 16 on offense, 10 on defense, and one on special teams. Georgia still has players they are looking to add to the class, with 5-star DL Aydin Breland still on the board.
