Coach Searels continues his tear on the recruiting trail by adding 4-star OT Nyier Daniels to the class.

Daniels is a 6'8", 340-pound offensive tackle for Bergan Catholic in Oradell, New Jersey. He's rated as the #2nd player in New Jersey, the #11 offensive tackle in the class, and the #163 player overall in the 2024 cycle. For his high school, he lines up at left tackle. With as big of a frame as he has, Daniels is a force in the run game and is the tallest and biggest of all the UGA offensive lineman commitments in this cycle. He joins 4-star Michael Uini, 4-star Daniel Calhoun, 3-star Malachi Toliver, and 3-star Marcus Harrison as the fifth offensive lineman commit in the 24 class.

He chose Georgia over Texas, Florida State, and Rutgers. When Stacy Sereals took the UGA offensive line coach job, many UGA fans were worried about how much of a force he would be in recruiting. He's proven those people wrong in the last week as he has commitments from 4-star Michael Uini, 4-star Daniel Calhoun, and now 4-star Nyier Daniels. Fran Brown played a role in this recruitment as he is also from New Jersey.

Daniels is the 25th player to commit to UGA's #1 ranked 2024 recruiting cycle. They have 13 commits on offense, 11 on defense, and one on special teams. Georgia has another chance to add to this class when 4-star OL Marques Easley announces his decision tomorrow.
