As 2022 comes to a close, I've spent some time reflecting on just how far this Georgia program has come. After the Dawgs won the National Championship, an installment of the SEC Network's "SEC Storied" series proclaimed 2021 as The Year of the Dawg. And what have the Dawgs done as an encore in 2022? Oh you know, just go 13-0 for the first time in program history and enter the College Football Playoff as the number 1 seed.

We've gone from wondering if Georgia would ever win a national title again to wondering if we can repeat within the span of a year.

I think what makes all of this even cooler is the man we have to thank for this, Kirby Smart. He's one of us. He played at Georgia in an era when going 10-2 was a really big deal. Now he has Georgia on the doorstep of doing something that has literally never been done before: win back to back College Football Playoff National Championships.

So soak it in Dawg fans. There's no need to "Munson". Just enjoy this ride and appreciate what we're witnessing. These are the good old days.
