Kirby Smart ALWAYS has a plan.

Everyone knows the story by now of legacy RB recruit Justice Haynes committing to the Alabama Crimson Tide. Of course that's not fun to see, but we told you not to panic because Kirby Smart ALWAYS has a plan. That plan comes in at 6'1 and 230 pounds of muscle.

The Dawgs have gone to California again for a very important commit and after visiting this weekend, Roderick Robinson has decided to become a part of RBU! The four star running back was committed to UCLA and recently took an official visit to Texas A&M, but it was Athens, GA and the Georgia Bulldogs that impressed him enough to make the commitment.

In case you haven't watched his highlights, this guy can flat out run the football. He is a bowling ball on the football field. You'll see in his highlights below that he's hard to bring down with a perfect form tackle, much less an arm tackle. And don't let his size fool you, as Robinson can flat out scoot down the field. He can also catch the ball out of the backfield, which our coaching staff is putting much more emphasis on.

Robinson committed to UCLA in late May and while the Bruins are having a good season, seeing SEC football in person had a huge impact on the dynamic RB. It doesn't hurt having guys from California like Kendall Milton and Brock Bowers on the team. It also didn't hurt at all to see freshman running back Branson Robinson run the football 12 times for 98 yards and a touchdown. Finally, Robinson grew up in South Carolina. So coming to Athens is a homecoming of sorts.

Robinson is commit #21 in the 2023 class and is the only running back commit so far. He is one of 16 4* commits for Kirby Smart and company. He is planning to be an early enrollee. In eight games this season he has 126 rushes for 1657 yards (13.2 ypc) and 24 touchdowns.

Here are highlights from his first five games this season: https://www.hudl.com/video/3/12707343/6313f56d90eefd078c5226fb

Now we're really going to have to ask extra nice for @Graham Coffeyto do a second film review!
