Georgia is fresh off a massive win at then #1 ranked Texas in Austin. The Bulldogs displayed one of their best defensive performances of the season, limiting one of the best offenses in the country to just 15 points.

The Bulldogs' defense was led by juniors Mykel Williams and Jalon Walker, who paced Georgia with a combined 5 sacks and 11 tackles.

The two star pass rushers sat down for their third episode with The Players' Lounge after the big win over the Longhorns.

Entering last week, Georgia was coming off of a rough outing against Mississippi State, allowing 31 points to the Bulldogs from Starkville. Knowing their next matchup would be against a top 5 team, Jalon said the Bulldogs entered the game with the "mindset of going in there to hunt, that was our intent."

Darrell K. Royal Stadium is one of the biggest stadiums in the country. A record crowd of over 105,000 fans came to cheer on their Longhorns last weekend. "It was a primetime football environment," said Jalon. "The environment was great, the fans were loud when we were on offense,” said Mykel.

Last week, Malaki Starks noted that the team is pushing to play a full four quarters of football, offensively and defensively. This idea was echoed by Mykel who felt Saturday "was a game where we played to our full potential." The Bulldogs' offensive and defensive lines were dominant for large stretches and Williams noticed this as he played, "We owned the line of scrimmage up front."

Jalon was a force to be reckoned with on Saturday and had a massive impact on the game's outcome. The Bulldogs totaled 7 sacks against the Longhorns and Jalon felt it was because the team "rushed as a unit" and had "good rush lanes."

Georgia has a bye this week, but will pick back up on November 2nd as they take on the Florida Gators.

Tune in to the full episode to hear Jalon and Mykel's full discussion of the Texas game.
