Georgia continued its roll of blue-chip 2024 signees today, landing the commitment of the #1 ranked CB in the 2024 class. 5-star Ellis Robinson IV announced his commitment to the Bulldogs in front of a national TV audience on ESPN2.

The 6'0" 175-pound corner started his high school career at Iona Prep in New York before transferring to IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida. Robinson is ranked as the #1 cornerback in the country and the #13 ranked recruit overall in the 2024 cycle. His 33 inch arms are long for a person of his size, giving him the ability to make plays on the ball. When you couple that length with Robinson’s 4.5 forty time you have the makings of a special defender.

Ellis chose Georgia over Alabama, Colorado, LSU, and Miami. Fran Brown and UGA seemed to be leading throughout his recruitment. UGA is off to a hot start in the secondary in the 2024 cycle. The Bulldogs have earned commitments from 4-star Peyton Woodyard (#2 Safety) and 4-star Jaylen Heyward (#3 Safety) in addition to the 5-star Robinson.

Robinson is the 10th commitment in UGA's 2024 class. With his pledge Georgia adds to its #1 ranked 2024 recruiting class. Georgia now has six commitments on offense and four on defense.
