Who Will Be the Next to Commit to the G?

Since Kirby Smart took over as the head coach of the Georgia Bulldogs, it always seems like he's been able to land the right recruit at the right time. What We're Hearing on June 10th Official Visitors

One thing I have learned is a lot of recruiting followers don't necessarily care to read a lot of fluff in an article. They just want to know who was here and who we're getting. Weekly Recruiting Preview - Dead Period is Over

The dead period is over for a week! It is now a "quiet period" on the NCAA calendar. This means that there can be no off-campus contact, but prospects can visit the schools. These visits have to be unofficial visits, as no officials are allowed during this period. Another dead period is set for the month of August, so expect a great deal of visitors to Athens and scross the country this week. Weekly Recruiting Preview - Dawgs Will Get Better This Week

Even after yesterday's surprising news, It's obvious with the way the recruiting calendar is set up that July is now the biggest month for commitments. UGA and pretty much every other major program have watched their commit lists grow. With the first game of the season against Oregon taking place in Atlanta and Georgia hosting Samford and Kent State, Kirby Smart and company have done a very good job of still getting top prospects on campus. Georgia had two very important official visitors in town this weekend in 2023 5* TE Duce Robinson and 2023 4* DL Markis Deal. Weekly Recruiting Overview 9/15/22

Two games into the season and plenty of elite prospects have made their way to Atlanta and Athens to see the Dawgs in person. Check out our visitor list for the Samford game HERE. It includes three 5* prospects - 2023 5* Edge Samuel M'Pemba, 2024 5* ATH KJ Bolden and 2024 5* CB Charles Lester. Weekly Recruiting Overview 10/3/22

Alright, Georgia had one of the biggest commitments in the 2023 cycle last week with Tyler Williams going public with his Commitment to the G. The 4* receiver committed to UGA over Miami, South Carolina, and plenty of others. He'll be a much needed addition to the receiver room in Athens, especially with him playing the receiver position for such a short time and his best football ahead of him. Just because there is a bye week in the schedule doesn't mean that recruiting also slows down. As a matter of fact, it actually picks up in a way because the coaching staff uses the free time as an opportunity to hit the road (air) and go see top targets. Reruiting is picking up around the nation as we approach December's early signing period for the class of 2023. There has been a lot going on lately as far as UGA is concerned for this class, as well as the 2024 class. UGA Weekly Recruiting Overview - Big Decisions Upcoming

The great thing about fall camp starting is obvious........................FOOTBALL IS HERE!!! August is over and so is the dead period! An evaluation period has also started, which means Kirby Smart and his on-field coaching staff can hit the road/air and check out some of UGA's top targets under the Friday Night Lights. UGA Reruiting Overview - 8/15/22

While recruiting has slowed down a bit since the dead period started on August 1st, there are still some important things going on in regards to the 2023 UGA recruiting class. The Dawgs currently have the fifth highest rated class according to the 247sports composite rankings, with the On3 consensus rankings has Georgia with the third ranked class in the nation. UGA Recruiting - Weekly Review

The second week in July proved to be a big one for the Georgia Bulldogs. There have been over 100 commitments so far in the month and the Dawgs have been a big part of it. While there was only one added to the 2023 commit list this past week, it was a very important piece to the puzzle. On the 10th, Raylen Wilson did what everyone was expecting and Committed to the G! Georga is starting the summer off with a bang with an absolutely huge recruiting weekend that will help shape this year's recruiting class. UGA Official Visitors for June 10th Weekend

Round 2 Set to Begin. Last week was one of the biggest, if not the biggest recruiting weekend ever for UGA. One thing I was told: if we get who we think we're getting from last weekend, we just won ourselves another national championship. While this weekend won't be as star studded (how can it be with Arch Manning headlining last weekend), it will still be loaded with talent. AJ Harris - Central vs Dothan Aj helped lead Central to a 35-28 victory. He recorded 20 tackles on the night with 1.5 Joenel Aguero - St John’s Prep vs La Salle Aguero helped St Johns to a 40-6 win. He had 2 catches for 15 yards. UGA 2023 Signing Class Superlatives

It's that time. Georgia's 2023 recruiting class is 99% done and the Dawgs once again finished with one of the best classes in the nation.
