UGA 2023 Signing Class Superlatives

It's that time. Georgia's 2023 recruiting class is 99% done and the Dawgs once again finished with one of the best classes in the nation. If you like seeing the stars beside the prospects' names, UGA has a lot of those. Kirby Smart and company also filled many needs with this class. Looking at the classes overall, there are only one or two fan bases that could honestly say that they wouldn't trade classes with the Back2Back national champions. COMMIT! Hall to the Red and Black

First there was Davis and Wyatt, now there is Jarrett and Hall. The previous duo are first round NFL picks and the latter hopes to do the same. While Jarrett has been on the commit list for a while, it has taken Hall longer to make a final decision. The four star defensive lineman from Jacksonville has been high on Georgia for the longest. COMMIT! Five Star is Finally a Dawg

Make no mistake about it, Coach Diribe and the rest of the Georgia coaching staff have put the work in to secure the commitment of five star edge prospect Damon Wilson. COMMIT! Harris is a Dawg Again

There actually hasn't been a ton of drama surrounding Georgia recruiting as in previous years leading up to National Signing Day. The Dawgs had 23 solid commitments already in the fold, with nine of those prospects already in Athens and practicing with the team. Official Dawgs Central Prediction - Dawgs Will Get a 5* Soon

Is it FINALLY that time? It has seemed like an eternity that UGA has led for 2023 5* EDGE Samuel M'Pemba. Georgia has really made M'Pemba a priority since this spring and has done an incredible job recruiting the 6'3 240 pounder. The Missouri native who is playing his senior season at IMG Academy has been to Athens multiple times this summer and this fall for Gamedays. Weekly Recruiting Overview 10/24/22

Just because there is a bye week in the schedule doesn't mean that recruiting also slows down. As a matter of fact, it actually picks up in a way because the coaching staff uses the free time as an opportunity to hit the road (air) and go see top targets. What Does the Chris Peal Commitment Mean for Georgia?

The University of Georgia isn't the No. 1 team in the nation for no reason at all. Official Dawgs Central Prediction - Chris Peal

Georgia has been after 2023 4* CB Chris Peal for the majority of this year, offering the 6'0 175 pounder in March. This is actually a decent bit after his other top schools, with Michigan, UNC, and NC State all offering in 2021. Reruiting is picking up around the nation as we approach December's early signing period for the class of 2023. There has been a lot going on lately as far as UGA is concerned for this class, as well as the 2024 class. UGA Commits Week 6 Recap and Highlights

AJ Harris - Central vs Dothan Aj helped lead Central to a 35-28 victory. He recorded 20 tackles on the night with 1.5 Joenel Aguero - St John’s Prep vs La Salle Aguero helped St Johns to a 40-6 win. He had 2 catches for 15 yards. Alright, Georgia had one of the biggest commitments in the 2023 cycle last week with Tyler Williams going public with his Commitment to the G. The 4* receiver committed to UGA over Miami, South Carolina, and plenty of others. With the first game of the season against Oregon taking place in Atlanta and Georgia hosting Samford and Kent State, Kirby Smart and company have done a very good job of still getting top prospects on campus. While recruiting has slowed down a bit since the dead period started on August 1st, there are still some important things going on in regards to the 2023 UGA recruiting class.
